Pontiac Bonneville
When the Pontiac Bonneville was developed, it promised generous sporty appearance
and performance; Pontiac being the sporty car division of GM. Now dubbed as one
of
General Motor's best sedans, the Pontiac Bonneville is sportier than most
of it's rivals including Buick and Oldsmobile. It is also pretty good-looking
but is more affordable than the luxurious Cadillac. And for those drivers that
have the attitude of being a keener-than-mainstream, this mainstream sedan might
just appeal to them.
Available in trims such as SE, SLE and the SSEi; the Bnnevilleo comes only in
a four-door sedan. It carried either a 3.8L V6 engine with 205 horsepower or a
3.8L supercharged V6 engine that can generate 240 horsepower and both has a standard
4-speed automatic transmission. These engines passed through several modifications.
It once generated 170 hp until it was tweaked and made to give off 205 hp. Then
it was again modified into an engine generating 225 horsepower until the supercharged
version came in with a horsepower of 240.

Fondly called as the "Bonne", the Bonneville also paraded impressive composure
when it's on the road with its sharp steering response, great cornering grip and
well-balanced handling.
All of Bonneville's trim levels features power steering, air conditioning, power
locks, power mirrors, cruise control, fog lamps and new stereo sound system. Safety
equipments such as four-wheel antilock brakes, four front air bags, anti-theft
system and integrated front seatbelts were also featured in Bonnevilles. Also
featured in this vehicle were sophisticated electronic gadgets informing the driver
about the car's condition such as oil life, battery charge and changes of tire
pressure. There is also a driver's information center with pushbutton display
dispensing information about the car's fuel economy, distance to empty and other
facts useful in driving. And just like any Pontiac parts, high quality Pontiac
Bonneville parts are available in reliable online auto parts stores.
Bonneville owners can also configure it to their personal likes from the front
seats and mirror positions to climate control choices and radio aspects.
In the interior, the Bonneville has prevailing doughy shapes that integrated
up to the doors, dash and consoles. It has a soft, "catcher's mitt" seats that
holds you safe and contented. The vehicle has a spacious interior and trunk giving
an ample room for both passenger and cargo. It has a wide trunk with flat floors
that provides a storage capacity of 18 cu. ft.
The Bonneville also sports a technology originated from fighter jets, known as
the head-up display. It projects information such as speed, turn signals and sound
system onto the windshield so the driver won't have to set their eyes off the
road.
